1. What Operating System does AntiSpy Pro support?
AntiSpy Pro supports Windows 95, 98,
NT 4.0, ME, 2000, XP
2. I have problem with installation.
This problem can appear on old windows versions (Windows 95, NT without Service
Packs, and the earliest builds of Windows 98). The reason is that your
operation system does old version of Windows Installer. You can download newest
version directly at microsoft download server.

3. Why the index.dat file still exists after I
erase it ?
Index.dat stores information about what web sites you have visited and what
cookies have been saved, the index.dat files are always locked by system when
Windows is running and can not be deleted. AntiSpy Pro marks this locked file as
the file that should be removed on system reboot. So after you reboot your
computer - index.dat will be cleared (the new blank index.dat file will be
created by the system as soon as you run Explorer).
4. Does the program "shred" the files selected,
or just clear/remove them?
AntiSpy Pro can "shred" files during the system clean. The program fills space with
random data or zeros (you can select the method). By default this option is
turned off (cause if you have a lot of files to clean - it will take more time
to wipe). If you want to turn it on - go totheOptions->Settings->FileOps
page.
5. What browsers does AntiSpy Pro support?
Internet Explorer 3+(IE 6 included), Netscape Navigator(4+,
6+), Opera, AOL (6.0, 7.0), Mozilla.
6. How can I delete index.dat file?
you should check "clean cookies" option in the settings, as index.dat is a part
of browser cookies system. When you clean the cookies, index.dat will be
deleted automatically (on reboot).
